This directory contains the latest versions of the stand-alone regularization codes TRIPLE, CHAIN0 and CHAIN as described in the manual manreg.ps (postscript file). The compressed tar file chain0.tar.Z has the compact version of the chain code CHAIN0, while chain.tar.Z is the full version with many optional features, including movie display by X11 graphics. A test input file is included with each code. Please report any problems. First released 12/6/04. The file triple2.tar.Z was added 8/5/06. It contains an external Plummer potential, as well as PGPLOT and X11 movie facilities. Likewise, CHAIN was upgraded by Plummer model and PGPLOT movie. The manual was revised 12/5/06 and also October 2006. Optional post-Newtonian terms added to TRIPLE2 during Cambody school. Third order added more recently. The manual has been updated with explanation of the GR part. Post-Newtonian 3PN and experimental decision-making added Oct 2006. The movie using PGPLOT will need a different library reference. More features included during revision Dec 2006. Jan 2007: triple3.tar.Z holds the triple code to be used to test GR example described in new paper. For other GR tests, use triple2. Aug 2007: small bug fix in grbin.f of triple2 & triple3 at 2nd order. Nov 2007: chain.tar.Z updated by the Mardling stability criterion. Jul 2008: PN expressions for eccentricity added to grbin.f of TRIPLE2. June 2012: kozai.tar.gz can be used for Kozai cycles with PN and spin. There are two version: 'make kozai' produces the executable kozai for standard regularized three-body code with post-Newtonian and spin. The command 'make -f Makefile_movie ptriple' gives the executable kozai which also includes movie with PGPLOT. Note that this requires a library. Routine kozai2.f used here is identical to kozai.f except for plotting. Movie with X11 ('xtriple') is more difficult.
