Errata for Gravitational N-Body Simulations (3 Oct 2003) -------------------------------------------------------- The following mistakes are printer's errors (or misunderstanding) when about 100 corrections were made to the second proofs. p.111, line 15 from below: `in per cent' should be deleted. p.111, last line: right-hand side should be M_{\rm S} m / {\bar m}. p.132, eq. (8.32): replace {\dot x} and {\dot y} by {x} and {y}. p.135, eq. (8.52): missing square root symbol (twice) in (b^2 + z^2). p.135, eq. (8.52): read `+ 3M_d' and multiply last term by `dz/dt'. p.314, line 6: `producing' should be deleted. p.321, middle: `star Jupiter' should be `star--Jupiter' p.395, line 5: `Publ. Astron. Soc. Japan' should be in italics. p.413: `Superfast' should be lower case. The story of how `Tools and Algorithms' came to appear on the dust jacket is a bit of a mystery. This came as a total surprise since there was no proof for inspection, although the subtitle formed part of my proposal. It may be included inside at future reprinting. In any case, it is a good catch phrase from a marketing point of view.
